We offer a range of education services specializing in mathematics, organization skills, building relationships with teachers, and learning how to self-advocate. TES tutors are qualified academic tutors offering personalized lesson plans to students in the Marin County area. We have been teaching students of all ages and levels since 2003. Teaching young people is our passion and we are committed to helping students discover and reach their full potential.

One-on-One Lessons
Customized Lessons to Fit
One-on-one lessons are focused around the needs of the student. Curriculum support, organizational skills, strategies for effective learning, and how to make the most of distance learning are a few of those needs that are nurtured and developed though one-on-one tutoring. With the current conditions due to Covid-19, we offer four different options.
Option 1: Session is conducted outside.
Option 2: Session is conducted in a patio room with large french doors opening to the outside.
Option 4: Session is conducted via zoom or other conferencing platforms.
Option 4: Session is conducted at your home.
Group Session
Weekly 2 - 4 students
Sessions are grouped by grade/course level. In group sessions the focus is on concepts needed to access the current grade level curriculum as well as support on those topics being taught. We encourage students to text each other and their tutor between sessions when they have questions. This allows for continuous support beyond the face-to-face time and growth in the area of peer support.
Shelly was instrumental in teaching our son the necessary strategies to help him become
successful navigating high school algebra, as well as helping him grasp concepts
that he was struggling with.
